Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Prepares for 2025 TURAK Accreditation

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Tourism Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts held a meeting on February 5, 2025, to discuss the application for the 2025 TURAK accreditation.

 

In the meeting chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Murat YEŞİLTAŞ, information was provided about the TURAK accreditation process. After discussing the application planning and sub-quality committees related to the accreditation, task distribution was made for the program self-evaluation report preparation team.

 

The self-evaluation report preparation team was unanimously approved as follows:

  1. Criterion: Students - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre ERBAŞ
  2. Criterion: Program Educational Objectives - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur KILINÇ
  3. Criterion: Program Learning Outcomes - Dr. Lecturer Merve ÇETİN
  4. Criterion: Curriculum - Dr. Lecturer Kadir ÇETİN
  5. Criterion: Faculty - Lecturer Ramazan ARSLAN
  6. Criterion: Administrative Structure - Lecturer Ramazan ARSLAN
  7. Criterion: Infrastructure - Lecturer İlhan AVCU
  8. Criterion: Institutional Support and Financial Resources - Lecturer İlhan AVCU
  9. Criterion: Continuous Improvement - Lecturer Önder Osman OFLAS

 

The meeting, attended by 9 participants, was held in the Faculty of Tourism Meeting Room and focused on preparations for the department's upcoming accreditation process.
