The Advisory Board meeting organized by the Tourism Management Department was held with the participation of industry representatives, academicians, and alumni. The meeting was attended by KHG Education and Communication Director Adil Gürkan, Cappadocia University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahar, owner of L Collection Management Consulting Firm Muhammet Cüntay, General Manager of Lavanta Tepesi Hotel Emine Kravkaz, Provincial Culture and Tourism Branch Manager Pınar Arslan, Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Süleyman Yarar, and one of the department's alumni Oğuz Şenol.
During the Advisory Board meeting, topics such as the current state of the tourism sector, education-industry collaboration, and employment opportunities for graduates were discussed. In addition, the updating of the department's education program according to industry needs and the evaluation of possible efforts for students to gain practical experience were assessed. Department Head Prof. Dr. Murat YEŞİLTAŞ thanked all stakeholders attending the meeting for their valuable contributions.
