With Mehmet İPAR, who has been working at the Turkey branch of Hakkasan, which has MICHELIN Guide and Gault Millau awards, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Kadir ÇETİN and our esteemed student İlayda BAŞKAYA as moderators, a talk titled “Cantonese Cuisine: Flavors at the Heart of China” was held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, between 15:00-16:00.
In this event, Chef Mehmet explained in detail the richness of Cantonese cuisine, culinary culture, spice blends, etc. Our chef shared his Hakkasan experiences and valuable tips on the path to success in his chef career with our students. During the Q&A session, our two Chinese chefs who participated in the talk answered questions related to Cantonese Cuisine in detail.
