The graduation ceremony for the 2023-2024 Academic Year of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University was held in a joyful manner.
The graduation joy, which started with the procession march held at the Independence Stadium, was attended by students and academics from all departments of the university, as well as international students from 42 different countries.
At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar made the opening speech. Rector Dalgar, who addressed the graduates, emphasized the importance of successfully completing the challenging process at the university, and mentioned the necessity of stepping out of their comfort zones, fighting, and never compromising their humanity. Rector Dalgar, referring to Akif's words, reminded the sentence "Rely on God, embrace the shadow, become a lover of wisdom, this is the way if there is one, I don't know any other way" and stated that the essence is to fall in love with effort.
Later in the ceremony, the graduation oath was administered to the graduating students by Dr. Lecturer Hakan Acar. The graduation ceremony ended with the students who graduated from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University throwing their caps into the air all together. The happiness in the students' eyes doubled with their hugging their families. Students immortalized this moment by taking graduation photos with their families and friends.
