Students of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Program participated in the Workshop event related to chocolate, bread, and ice cream production organized at the Kristal Industrial facilities as part of the Bread and Dough Production course.

On December 07, 2023, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Kadir ÇETİN, Öğr. Gör. Önder Osman OFLAS, Öğr. Gör. İlhan AVCU and our valuable students participated in the event. The event provided students with hands-on training on bread making, boutique chocolate production, and ice cream production by expert demo chefs in the field. In addition, the features and usage of kitchen tools and equipment developed in line with technological advancements were conveyed. This important event made a significant contribution to students and academicians in closely following new developments in the rapidly changing food and beverage sector and being able to produce accordingly. The event held on December 7, 2023, at the Kristal Industrial training facilities was a valuable experience for Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Kadir ÇETİN, Öğr. Gör. Önder Osman OFLAS, Öğr. Gör. İlhan AVCU and our students. The hands-on training provided by experienced demo chefs in the sector during the event contributed to the professional development of the students by offering up-to-date information on bread making, boutique chocolate production, and ice cream production.
