Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar met with Tourism Management and Hospitality School students.
At the event where gastronomy students showcased their skills, Rector Dalgar chatted with the students and listened to their requests and opinions. Making a short speech to the students who started university life, Dalgar said, “Welcome to our university. Make the most of this very important turning point in your life. Please do not stay within four walls. Develop yourself with different activities. Social intelligence development is very important for your communication skills. You have come to one of the strongest tourism schools in Turkey that offers practical training. In our evaluations with our professors, different universities request information and consultancy from us to implement our education model. Understand its value and always approach with the mindset of what we can learn from practice.”
Later, the dishes prepared by the Tourism Management and Hospitality School students, which have become traditional, were offered to Rector Dalgar and the newly registered students.
