The Tradition of Ashura Day is a meaningful event that emphasizes unity and togetherness, shared by almost all belief groups as a reflection of Turkey's rich cultural structure. This tradition is an occasion that reminds people of how valuable it is to live together and see differences as a richness.
Our college's faculty members organized the "Ashura Event" to bring the meaningful atmosphere of the month of Muharram into the college environment and to emphasize the importance of sharing, tolerance, and solidarity together.
