An Orientation Training was Organized for Our New Students in the Faculty of Tourism

An orientation training was held for the new students who registered in the 2026-2027 Academic Year at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Tourism, specifically for the first-year students of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and Tourism Management Department.

During the training, information was provided to our students about university and faculty life, education-teaching processes, course registrations, academic advising, exams, student information system (OBIS), social and cultural activities, and the opportunities available at the university and faculty that students can benefit from.

Additionally, to facilitate students' adaptation to faculty and university life and to contribute to their academic and social development, information was provided about student communication channels, counseling services, and the units students can refer to in processes they may encounter.

The orientation training concluded after answering students' questions and exchanging views.

As the Faculty of Tourism, we wish all our new students a successful, productive, and beautiful educational life.
