Tourism Faculty Graduate-Student Meeting

As part of the 20th Anniversary events of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, face-to-face and online alumni meetings have been organized by the Faculty of Tourism.

Our first event titled “EXPERIENCE SHARING FROM OUR ALUMNI” was held face-to-face on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Theology. Our alumni, Büşra ŞEN AVCU from the Department of Accommodation Management and Nesibe Halenur AL from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, participated in our event. Our alumni conducted an interview with our students under the moderation of Dr. Faculty Member Merve ÇETİN. In the interview, our alumni shared their career journeys and professional experiences after graduation with our students.

Our second event titled “ALUMNI MEETING,” where we brought our alumni together, was held online via the Zoom platform on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Graduates from our Departments of Accommodation Management, Tourism Management, and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, as well as faculty members, participated in the event. The event was moderated by Dr. Faculty Member Özlem GÜNCAN, and it facilitated our alumni to come together with each other and their professors. Our alumni shared their experiences and insights regarding their professional lives after graduation with each other and our academics.
